I have loved Autumn since I was a kid. It’s the beginning of the holiday season (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas…so perfect!) The colors, the smells, the food, the movies, you name it, and I love it! Have, I mentioned pumpkins?!? Yes. I am one of those people. I drink pumpkin spice coffee in my cup year-round. Here are my Fall essentials for a cozy day in!

Fall Essentials for a Cozy Day In
A good Fall Breakfast.
Let’s start the day off right with a good breakfast that is perfect for Fall. I mentioned earlier that one of my favorite things about Fall is the smells. What better way to start your day than filling your kitchen with some yummy Fall smells? Here are some great breakfast recipes that are perfect for Fall:
Easy Instant Pot Apple Cinnamon Steel Cut Oatmeal
Pumpkin Cheesecake Pancakes
Pumpkin Doughnut Holes
My family and I have a few favorites that we watch every Fall/Halloween season. To be honest, we watch some of these year-round. I included family favorites. However, you could always pull out the scary classics for when the kiddos go to bed!
A Good Book!
A good book is perfect for any time of the year. However, on days when you don’t want to brave the outdoors, books can be your best friend. Here are some of my favorite books that I love to read with my family. Side note, I haven’t read Harry Potter to my boys yet. However, it is one of my favorite series of books to read.
This is truly the season for pumpkins! I love to start my mornings off with Pumpkin Spice coffee and Pumpkin Spice Creamer. The taste of Pumpkin Spice is one of my favorites, but I also love the smell. For this reason, I love keeping pumpkin bars in my Scentsy warmers all season long.
My boys and I also love carving pumpkins and toasting the pumpkin seeds for a healthy Fall snack!
Let’s Get Comfy!
Getting comfy definitely has to be on the Fall essentials list. There is nothing more perfect than sitting on your couch, wearing comfy-fuzzy socks, yoga pants, a warm long-sleeve flannel shirt, and being covered up with a warm cozy blanket. Doesn’t that sound perfect?
Hot chocolate is a must for this time of year. You can find many easy homemade hot chocolate recipes online, or Keurig has some amazing hot chocolate k-pods.
Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate
Red Velvet Hot Chocolate with Creamed Cheese Whipped Cream
Hot Apple Cider
Another favorite drink for my family during the Fall season is hot apple cider. A great way to really utilize the smell is to make your hot apple cider in your crockpot. This way, you can enjoy the drink, and your home will smell amazing!
Slow Cooker Apple Cider from Scratch
Slow Cooker Cider
Crockpot or Instant Pot
I love to pull out my Crockpot or Instant Pot during the Fall season. It makes dinnertime quick, easy, and smells up your home. Here are some great recipes for you to try this Fall in your Crockpot and Instant Pot.
Instant Pot Cornbread
Instant Pot Pot Roast
Easy Slow Cooker Pumpkin Chili
The fireplace is my favorite place to sit during the Fall season. It is so relaxing and it always puts me in the mood for the upcoming Holiday season.
Football on the TV and appetizers cooking in the kitchen is another one of my favorite things about Fall.
